If you were looking forward to seeing Russell Crowe in tights in the new Robin Hood film, you’ll be disappointed. “I will not wear tights because according to our research they weren’t invented for another 300 years,” the actor said. Crowe, who plays Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham opposite Sienna Miller’s Maid Marion in Nottingham, added: “I apologise to you all – and to Sienna Miller.” You can expect a treat from the Ridley Scott-directed epic. “The world doesn’t need a mundane version of Robin Hood.
