Critics say Paris Hilton’s film is worst movie of the year

Paris Hilton’s new film, Repo! The Genetic Opera, has been slated by film critics who say that the director, Darren Lynn Bousman, had to edit around her. “The film is bad – not good-bad, tacky-bad or fun-bad, just plain awful and nearly unwatchable,” Los Angeles Times’ critic Mark Olsen wrote. “It seems the production has had to cut around the ubiquitous Paris Hilton, as she is never glimpsed in anything but brief, fleeting shots and her hoarse bark of a singing voice is used as little as possible.” And Olsen was not alone in his opinion; San Jose Mercury suggested the film was “as bad as it gets”, adding it’s “easily one of the worst movies of the year, if not all time.” SOURCE: IRELAND ONLINE
