What do I get for my best friend’s birthday.under $100?10 replies

My best friend is turning 12 years old (yeah, she’s like 2-3 years younger than me) on May 24. She is girly-preppy, and she loves totes (gets a new backpack-tote every week or so). She is not an animal-lover really, but she is like a Massie Block in the Clique series. I need gift ideas (not money or giftcard or homemade) under $100. I was thinking of getting her a Kitson tote, with a Marc Jacobs cosmetic bag, with a Chanel Glossimer lip gloss and pink swarovski-covered earphones inside. Anything else I should add, or what else should I get her?

   Get her a Coach wristlet with some Hard Candy lipgloss.

   EDIT: Switch the Chanel gloss for a more teen-ish brand. She won’t appreciate Chanel much more than Hard Candy or Urban Decay. Really. Get her some Fortune Telling Hard Candy lipgloss in Grape and maybe some eyeglitter liner?

   a gift card, dat’s the best way to go. People today are soooo picky, and with a gift card they can go and buy their own things, without them or you having any problems.

   Well since she sounds young I would say maybe start her a juicy couture charm bracelet. Buy a juicy bracelet that you can put charms on and then buy a few of charm to go with it.

   I think you should get her an Ipod shuffle. All girlz love that! The 1GB is 49 dollares, the 2GB is 69. Also get her a gift card, so she can get songs, and music. I think she will like it.

    Buy her a Clique Book, or the new Massie summer collection book. If her birthday is after May 1, get her the new Dylan one. The author is Lisi Harrison. If she already has those, another idea is getting her a Juicy Couture charm bracelet, and buy her a charm, and a new one for every birthday she has.
