tote bags or backpacks for school?10 replies

so i’m going into Jr. high, and i’m not exactly sure if everyone uses tote bags, or backpacks. i used tote bags and backpacks during elementary school, but everyone used backpacks. i know backpacks are way easier, but i prefer being the “trendsetter” instead of a follower. i had to hold A LOT of stuff so my shoulders hurt like crazy!! i play an instrument next year, and have to walk to school, so should i get a backpack which is more comfortable but a bunch of people use them, or get a tote which is really cute but hurts like crazy when i have a bunch of homework?? (btw i hate messenger bags, so please don’t recommend that as your answer) Thanks in advance!!! <333

   i use tote bags. and i played the clarinet. fit right into my bag. but backpack is more convinent

   go for a backpack (mostly because you’ll start to get books) but one that is original and has a cute print.

   bottom line: there’s plenty of options out there and once you find one you like you can customize it by decorating it with fabric paint or gluing on decals.

   This is kind of tricky and me being like you and also going into junior high I have to still decide for me lol. But for you I think a backpack will have to do. I know how you must feel though being a follower fellow trendsetter!! haha
   If you’re having to suffer through pain to make your fashion statement then you have to do something else because having a bruised shoulder all through jr high will just create problems.

   I think you should get a backpack. Find a plain one and add your own flare, like pins, glue on beads, fabric paint, sequins. It will be comfortable and fashionable!

   switch off. buy a tote bag and a cute backpack …use the backpack on days that you know you are gonna have more homework.

   Im already in jr high and everyone used backpacks,In Jr.High there is alot of stuff you have to carry around.but be glad you get to carry it in bags,my school wont let us carry bags along.Anyways have fun in jr high!!! :]

   i would saw backpacks, they are coming back in to style, just wear the straps as tight as they go, at least that’s what they’re doing at my high school, i would switch to a cute tote bag on minimum days when you don’t have to carry much

   It depends on the person you want to be in junior high.
   Do you want to be the stand-out girl, who is really cool, and has a lot of fashion?
   Or do you want to be the girl who kind of blends in, she’s still cool, but she’s more comfortable…
   If you’re gonna be the first one, I’d recommend getting your totes from Victoria’s Secret PINK, they are comfortable, because they have fatter straps, that don’t hurt because they are made out of material, not plastic.
   You could still be fashionable and a trendsetter with a backpack though. Like the white one under my sources is kinda cool…

    I usually ALWAYS use tote bags because i love them with a fiery passion but it seems like you’ve got alot on your hands so maybe just get like a supercute backpack with zebra print like my old one or something else. BUt im in highschool and your still young and usually everyone in junior high still wears backpacks so if i wer you i would just go with the backpack haha i hate messenger bags too well yupp goodluck!
