   you could take some saftey pens and put beads on it and pen it to the bag it looks cool

   Try finding pieces of fabric, and sew them together. For the handle, you can use ribbon, rope, or wires.

   I’ve been crocheting these tote bags from plastic grocery bags. I make them from Kroger bags, Walmart bags, and one from all kinds of different bags. Each one takes about 100 bags, but you probably have relatives and friends who have large stashes of bags they’d love to get rid of. I’ve been selling them for $20 each as all the GREEN folks like them. go to this website for instructions on how to cut the bags and for the crochet pattern. GOOD LUCK and HAVE FUN

   If you have an old wool sweater that you don’t wear any more, you can put it through a hot water wash to felt it (you may already have one that’s felted if you’re like most of us {g}). After it’s felted, lay it flat and cut handles out of the yoke area, then work buttonhole stitch around the handles. Sew up the bottom and you have a bag. I made mine from a 25¢ garage sale sweater that had a lot of pattern in it and use it to carry my knitting.

   There are instructions available online to make them from koolaid or caprisun pouches. They look cute.

   Make a tote bag from the crotch and pocket area of denim jeans, or one made from the leg, about 7″ X 12″.
   Search for recycled denim bags.
