Why not? It’s my money and if I want to spend it pampering my dogs, whose business is but mine?

I think the little bed with the bars is cute!
I’d also buy the dress for christmas or something, but not the shoes!

I agree with what Karen said!

Some dogs enjoy being pampered. If it is humane, makes the dog comfortable and happy, and makes the owner happy…why not.

Most of my pet shopping is done at places like PetSmart, which hosts shelter adoptions on the weekends. It’s a great way to patronize a business that promotes and supports adoptions.

    No, they dont NEED it.

What’s so scary about this is that there alot of people who buys those ridiculous things. And why do they need a baby highchair!?!?! I have a large dog so those “cute” little items don’t appeal to me.

It’s a little over the top. I can see the sun protection for a dog that has been shaved, because you’ve removed its natural protection. Some people have way too much money!

Yes, it is unnesscessary but some people love treating their dogs like their children. If they have money to spend, then by all means….

yes. Just because it’s an animal doesnt mean that it doesnt deserve comfort. Animals have feelings too. If you aren’t going to treat an animal with respect and love like you would a human, then don’t purchase an animal.

i didnt see it all but they dont need all of it like the stroller. they could have the playpen for whenyour gone but some of that stuff is soo stupid. hope i helped

  12. pitbullmojo said on August 11, 2009 at 2:37 am

well most of that stuff, they do not NEED, but some people find it fun to get those things for their dog. i do not get “frilly” things for my dogs, but i do put coats on them in the winter (it gets to -40F sometimes where i live) some dogs DO need protection from the sun, light colored dogs can get sunburned on the top of their muzzle, and ears if they have a short coat. i have a white dog that i have to put a little sunscreen on when we go out in the sun for long periods of time.

Any puppy worth his salt will have destroyed that playpen in a matter of hours.

As for the stroller… I have that exact one! Cindy (my 4 lb chihuahua) loves to go out in it. She can see everything and everybody without worrying about being stepped on, or worse being grabbed by some illmannered child. All of the fun of a good outing without the anxiety.

The sling doesn’t look comfortable to me. But then, I’ve never thought they looked all that comfortable for babies either. Who wants to be wadded up that way?

The shoes… Cindy has a pair of little black patent mary janes. Very cute. Do you think she wears them? Do you think she walks in them? Heck No! But I got a cute picture out of the deal.

The UV protective clothing would probably be quite helpful for naked breeds like the chinese crested.

And as for the extra furniture, if you have nothing better to spend your money on, why not? I simply hang Cindy’s dresses in the hall closet on baby hangers from the dollar store. Easily accessible, and yet… wrinkle free.

Omg I laughed for about a minute when I saw that highchair. Honestly…….. A high chair?!?!?! I think I need to get one of those for my 90 lb rottweiler, what do you think? Oh gosh, and that poor little dog with the goggles! Some of these are too funny. Thanks for the laugh. :)

Now i have dogs you wouldn’t try to dress up!! Lol!!

But my family did have a runt mini longhair dashchund for 16years…. Now i can see the attraction to a buggy & sling when they are old, can’t walk far, but love being out!!

We used to take ours everywhere with us as a teeny pup, she was less than 9lbs full grown, she used to pop in a bag to go round shops!!

But the older she got, the heavier she got & we couldn’t carry her like that in shops… If it means they’re happy, what the harm!!

(I used to dress her up when i was little & she loved it, but the shoes are abit much!! Lol!!)

ADD: Just to say, i carry my 2yr old son in his sling still, he’s 24lbs…. Why wouldn’t you carry a tiny dog in one!! It’s fab & hands free!!

If someone likes it and has the money for it I don’t care as long as they don’t forget what a dog needs or try to buy a dog stuff to get out of walking or playing with their dog. It is none of my business, I find it silly but who cares.
I have a travel crate for my puppy and when she gets bigger she will have another more comfortable crate plus the travel crate to leave in the jeep does it need to be fashionable no not at all but then again I have no fashion sense anyway
