Should I? Do you think it’s kinda weird to not use a backpack and use a tote bag instead?

   OMG no prob! I used a Hollister tote for school and it’s fine, and you’ll feel more grown up! I know Hollister is like the TOTAL opposite of where you shop, but using a tote is soooo much fun and it doesn’t hurt your back as much and you can put more stuff in it.

   thats a frickn’ cute bag. and yes, you should use a tote bag. lots of people at my school do it. its not wierd. and if it was, what’s stopping you? who cares about others.

   It’s very cute, but I would only use it to carry between classes. Backpacks are better for carrying large amounts of books because they distribute the weight evenly on your body. The handles may even rip.

   Thats super cute. At my school hardly any girls carry backpacks anymore, its really cute tote bags like that. Start a new trend!

    Well, you could. I mean, it’s not abnormal. A lot of girls in my school do it. But I don’t think anything beats a good old Jansport bookbag. They’re durable, confortable, carry all your things, and can be cute. I would imagine a totebag would get painful if you carry a good volume of books; it’d cut into you’re arm and just be a pain. But if you don’t carry much, go for it. Just be aware that you may need to carry things in your arms if you have occasions where many things must be brought along.

    I personally wouldn’t use it as a backpack for school, because I have FAR too many books than that bag would allow me to carry lol…Some girls do that at my school, but its more common to have the puma sports backpack slings…It wouldn’t work well for me, but if it’ll hold all of your stuff, I don’t think its that weird to do.

    I personally don’t think it’s weird. You probably could start a new trend, depending on how simple it appears and if it is practical. If your work load is heavy, just forget.

    Just remember to express yourself with a button or two / or have a local artist do something fresh on it. You don’t wanna look like something straight outta Brooks Brothers for women. Unless that’s the look your going for.

    What a terrific bag, but really the reason a back pack bag is better, is because it distributes the weight of all your school stuff more evenly for your body to carry safely.
    Over time, carrying a heavy tote will put unnecessary strain on your back – serious problems then, down the track,,,,,,,
    I agree the tote is great, maybe you could use it for social stuff etc……

    Ya it’s super cute, I use one for school too. But if it gets too heavy,just switch to a backpack for awhile.

    ya, its not my style but if you like it then get it…i mean the bag itself isnt my style, but totes are my style….ok haha ya but, totes in general are nice to carry to school and they are cute, they give a laid back, casual look to your outfit. i wore a tote for like half the school year, but I think i overwore it, but I did mix it up with other totes. They arent really that heavy, I think you should get it. Lots of people wear totes for the first few weeks of school and switch off with their backpacks and then back to totes
