There was a movie with a black actress (i thought might be halle berry in Losing Isaiah but not sure if that’s it) where she went to live in the country with relatives and worked at a diner-she had a candelabra which they referred to as a man’s name (which I also don’t recall) that she toted around and was always close to selling for the cash but didn’t to stay true to her heritage…..it’s driving me crazy!
