Moms: Which purse do you like better as a gift?10 replies

I’m buying a purse for my mom for mother’s day…normally I am not this cheap but I am seriously broke this year.

anyway, I think these two are really cute. Can you please tell me which purse you’d rather have? My mom is in her 50s and has dark brown hair, if that matters. She wears a lot of cute tunics and capris. But always carries around a boring plain medium-sized black purse.

Also, If not the purses I was thinking of getting the pearl bracelet. Would you rather have that instead of a purse?

LOL to the first answer. that’s ok, i still like them but yeah brown is probably better .

to the people who said bracelet…yeah I know it’s probably nicer and more sentimental but I always get her jewelry. do you think that gets old after awhile?
p.s.s. part of the reason why i cant afford much is because im living abroad so i have to pay for shipping too!

   I personally prefer the pearl bracelet, because i think it would go with more outfits, which would mean that your mom would benefit from you buying it her.

   I (as a mother) love the bracelet above the purses, but that has nothing to do with what you want to get your mom…personally anything i get from my kids means more than all the thoughts you are putting into them. Don’t fret…you obviously care about her and the fact you are so worried about her gift proves that even more, but if given the choice i like the bracelet best.

   im not a mom but your mom sounds just like my mom but my mom likes expensive coach purses. that she buys once a year lol there too expensive… i hope she wasnt expecting one from me this year HA…. lol… i like the darker brown purse thats what id choose for my mom… the light brown one looks like a 90 year old womens purse…. hahaha

   ADD: do not get the pearl bracelet when i see pearls i think a young girl or young adult not a 50 year old women… if your going to buy her a bracelet get a gold bangle or tennis bracelt or something… but not cheap pearls… just my opinion and what ive seen my mom in…

   ADD: if you do go with a pearl bracelet dotn get that one… its too cheap looking. pearls have to at least be of nice quality…

   i like the first purse best and think she’d like it too, but you can’t really go wrong with a pearl bracelet, as long as she wears jewelry in general. you know your mom best, would she like the more practical gift of a purse or would she like jewelry? either would be great.

    I think all of it looks kind of cheap. Check out World of Bags though! I think it could get delivered in time for Mother’s Day too. Here are two that I love for around $30:
