um, if you’re expecting to get ALL of that, then yes. i suggest you print out the list and tell your family members to choose 2 or 3, as these are mostly very expensive gifts. =]

it is a wish list, so it will give alot of different ideas. Alot better than trying to guess what you want.

No! It’s supposed to be that long so your parents can pick and choose some things from it.

    P.S- I

Fucking hell most people were i come from are happy with 50 quid. And that was before the credit crunch. Seriously threes more important things in life then coach lip gloss and a mac brush cleanser.

well that is certainly ALOT, especially since most of it is expensive, and if i’m estimateing that correctly, its atleast a few thousand dollars worth… i may be wrong though… but that is ALOT, and i wouldn’t plan on all of that unless your parents are rich…

Unless your a very lucky kid with billionaire parents, then yes, it’s a tad on the long side!

    I mean, just picking out a few things;

    -Money
    -iPod
    -Wii Fit
    -DS Games
    -Board Games
    -Mac Games

That’s a lot to ask for. Especially when it’s not your birthday, as the money is being spent on everyone. I think that if you get that, then you are very lucky, and in my view, a little spoilt too.

No, as long as you understand you arnt gonna get all of this stuff

It is quite a lot especially at these times when money is quite hard to get depending on the income your parents get from their job, why don’t you save some of stuff on the list for birthday or buy some of it with money that you get for christmas, when the sales come a lot of that stuff will probably go down in price.

  15. Allie said on September 8, 2009 at 11:29 pm

Well, I know when I ask for stuff for Christmas that a long list like this has some pros and some cons. Like a good thing for one would be that this list will give your parents or family members a good idea of what you like now, and it can really inspire them for some other gifts for you. Also, sometimes itsa bit good to ask for more, only because if you ask for too little, like a few CDs, some parents tend to feel like they don’t have enough to give you and then they get filler presents that you may not even like! But on the bad side, I see your list contains some exspensive stuff- like The Wii Fit, a coach bag, and an Ipod touch. These things are great to ask for, but I know in my house I would never get all three. In this case, I urge you to go through it and just put it in the order that you really want it. Like if you want the Wii Fit the most for Christmas, put it on the top of the list and then make a note of it so your parents can see, or you can star the things you REALLY want. It may seem hard, but theres always your birthday to fall back on!
I hope this helped. But all in all you’re list seems a fine length, but you just may want to rank the items. Good luck!

In my family no. We have a BIG family and everyone called and told my parents what they would get. If you have a small family or only your parents are getting you these things I would make the list in order from what you want the most to what you want the least or highlight the ones you really want :)

I don’t really understand a few things, like:
Why is there money and gift cards on the list?
And why are there more than one perfume?

If I were you, and I don’t mean this in a bad way, but cut it down to:

    money or gift cards
    one perfume (or two)
Scrapbook kit (for something to do on Xmas day)
Lava lamp or DS games or Sims games or Charm bracelet
3 make-up items (lip gloss, nail varnish random stuff from bath & body works)
Burberry Scarf or Pink and/or white bedspread
iPod Touch or Nano Chromatic in Pink or Wii fit
-But that’s an example. Who knows, it could be fun spending time to narrow it down.
