Is it weird to carry around a tote bag in 9th grade?11 replies

well im a girl and i dont like backpacks, and i want something to carry my school stuff and other items in. Would it be weird? And do teachers allow them in classes? thanks

   Well, I did in 8th grade. It’s fine, if it’s allowed at your school. But backpacks are easier, tbh.

   everyone’s been carrying tote bags since 5th grade…so yes, its totally fine.

   im going to 9th grade too and im planning on getting a tote myself
   its way cuter than a backpack and way stylish
   and yes if you have books or school suppliers in them then they should allow it.

   No, I don’t think it would be weird..If it’s the way you like carrying your stuff then you should go for it! And why wouldn’t teachers allow them?I mean if you have all your books and supplies, then they’re fine with it! Hope i helped! ♥♥

   And i don’t see why not they are the same as backpacks.

    no, it wouldn’t be weird
    i find it much easier
    teachers usually don’t mind, i guess because it doesn’t take up as much room as backpacks
    i carry them and i like them so much better because i can just leave them on my lap and work over it and if i need anything i can easily reach into it with one hand
    if you plan on putting a lot of books in it, remember to switch shoulders to avoid pain

    no it wouldnt be weird. im going to gr 9 too and i find it better than a back pack cuz our lockets r too small! in 7th grade i had to stuff my back pack in my locker. it was so bulky. so i switched to a tote bag. just dont switch to those big hard shoulder bags like those TNA ones. it would either not fit or u have to scrunch ur bag.
