In college do most students use backpacks or tote bags to carry their books and stuff?15 replies

I was wondering in college what do most students use backpacks or tote bags to carry their school supplies in. I know in high school most kids every year just carried differnt kinds of tote bags, but i was just wondering what kind of school bag do most people use in college? Thanks

   Get a back back with nice padded shoulder straps. Those college books are HEAVY!

   Backpacks, then you have your hands free. Plus you need to carry your laptop in it.

   honestly you should carry whatever you feel most comfortable with. There aren;t lockers in college like highschool so you will carry more books throughout the day. I would personally go for the backpack because you can carry more and it won’t hurt your shoulders as much.

   what else would they use??? silly. dont worry about that crap,,,,you will have more pressing concerns to worry about then sporting the proper backpack.(messenger bags are cool)

   get a leather back pack, and if you can get one with wheels to use on those days when you have a lot to tote around that would be even better, forget style and go for what is easiest for you to manage.

    My sister had a regular backpack. They mailman kind (where it has one strap and hangs down at your side, like a mail man’s bag) can really hurt your back and shoulder. And you usually bike to different classes so you need a two straped one there. Good luck this fall!

    speaking from experience, i would recommend a backpack for the books and your spare pen and pencil, and a top-loading briefcase-style bag for your laptop (just one where you open a zipper and slide your laptop out). be sure that it has a pocket for the AC adapter and room for an external mouse if you need it

    don’t try to stuff too much into the same bag as your laptop though..

    Well, it depends if you are cool and have a laptop and an ipod. if you do than youll want a nice jansport or nike bookbag. dont forget to get that student loan so you can buy a cool crotchrocket chicks are awesome with a motorcycle. kinda like charlies angels lol. kick butt and stay in colege all the way!
