My uniform is a white or blue polo shirt, a plaid kilt [[black, blue, and green, its called black watch]], and optional blue knee high socks or white, and either a blue cardigan or green sweater. any ideas on how i could spice up my uniforms that would not include anything that might not be allowed example crazy colored tights. Also i need ideas of what bookbag i should use. I mostly like using tote bags so if you could send in links of where i could buy cute tote bags. Thanks.! <3

    Private boarding school?
Surely you are intelligent enough to work this out for yourself.

I go to a Catholic school, so I have a uniform too. Ive never been a fan of the whole uniform thing.. so I always emphasize my hair / accessories / shoes / purses or bags.

I try to have my hair in a different style every day of the week. Some styles I use headbands, or special clips to make it more fun. Seventeen Magazine has a special article this month, they usually have one every month with a different hairstyle for each day of the week.

I also wear cool, cute jewelry that express my personal style. Try going to Claire’s and pick up some cute bracelets, necklaces, earings, headbands, rings, toerings, anklets.. etc.

Also .. SHOES! I probably have bought 10x more shoes than clothes since I have started at my school. Once again express your style! Have some cute flats (maybe in a silver or white, so that they match basically any piece of your uniform). As well have some in-style fashion sandals, boots for winter, and some casual runners (like Pumas?).

As for bags.. for something to carry your books in.. try Hollister or Abercrombie. Hollister has great bags in tons of colors, patterns and styles for quite cheap -. Abercrombie’s are quite a bit more expensive, as most come with leather or good quality fabrics, but they are also very cute -. For casual days, try buying a small purse or clutch in a color that POPS! Bright colors are VERY in this year. You can purchase these virtually at any accessories, clothing or handbag store.
    Good luck!

Ok, from the guy perspective, the school girl kilt skirt look doesn’t need spicing up. There are numerous bars, even chains, that use this simple formula to boost their male customers. Okay, so you probably wouldn’t be able to show up for class looking like the girls at , but I’ve seen other bars that play up the look more conservatively with the knee high stockings, bookworm glasses, and pigtails.
