It had a stain from ashes from my pellet stove, so I tried washing it but the dish detergent stained it too.

Keep at it with cold water on a cloth.

You might need some hydrogen peroxide.

Dang, I would have put clear hand soap on a rag and wet it, then rubbed it on it. Then I would have thrown it in the wash on delicate if that didn’t work.

get powder detergent add water to a cup of it make it to a thick paste then leave it for a few hours and rinse it really works even with the cheapest detergent ive even got a grease stain out if it don’t come out thoroughly the 1st time do it a second time and it should come out

get amonia, water, and dish washing soap.
    -1 tbsp of amonia
    -1 tsp of dish soap.
-and 3/4 a cup of water.
mix it together and then get a towel and just wipe it down, let it sit for a while until dry and it should be out. :) )

You can get club soda in a little dish mixed with a little bit of hot water, and soak a dish towel in the dish. Grab the dish towel and blot onto the stain and then lay the dish towel there for about 45 minutes. Hope that helped!

LL Bean will replace anything that you are not happy with, for any reason and it doesn’t matter how old the product is and you don’t need the receipt. I’ve only returned one thing to them, a pocketbook that the zipper broke on, and they were so great about it they will always have my business!
