Alright, my mother would be ashamed that I’m telling this to the public, but I can’t sew worth a donkey’s ass. I love doing artsy projects, however. My current proposition is to attempt to make my very own tote bags. I know I’ll need to buy some cute fabrics and such, but does anyone know how I could avoid to sewing? (While keeping the bag very durable of course) Thanks to all of those who answer!

You could buy fleece fabric and cut little slits on all sides and tie knots in it. Would be durable but not sure if you could get it tight enough so there wouldn’t be holes.

try “knotted fleece” search on google to see what I mean

You might try some double backed tape.

You can get some stuff that irons on to fuse layers of fabric together. Not sure it would hold well enough for heavy things, but it works well for lightweight objects. It’s sold in every fabric store and comes in various widths. I think the generic term for it is “fusible webbing.”
