How do I make a tote bag from empty clean potato chip and snack food bags?5 replies

I’ve seen two styles, one thickness, sew with machine and other woven. Would like to know how to weave the chip bags especially. But any web link or help appreciated.

   You can make ‘fabric’ from plastic bags by ironing them together- they will shrink- use paper to cover your ironing surface and the iron though to stop it sticking.

   It uses plastic shopping bags but snack food bags should also work- you can then sew them using a machine.
