How big should tote bags be for freshman high school?10 replies

I just got a tote bag and it is like a phone book size! Do I need something bigger than that?

   No I think that’s fine. You don’t want something that’s going to get in the way when you’re walking through the hallway. And you can fit plenty of things in that size!

   I suggest you get a backpack or a larger bag. In high school you get books for almost every subject and unless you’re planning on making many trips to your locker, you will have to carry your notebooks, binders and books with you. (along with your other personal things).

   get something that can fit like 2 binders and 2 books, because you can always go to your locker to change it up. get it depending on your classes, but it’s best for it not to look too big, because it’s your first year you don’t want older kids to find reasons to pick on you.

   yea i think it will need to be bigger cuz u cant rele fit big books in there or notebooks. and u dont want them sticking out of the bag

   Personally, I don’t think using a tote bag is the greatest of ideas. In high school, you carry all your books and belongings with you everywhere, and carrying all that weight on one shoulder can do a lot of damage.

   On the other hand, if you do want a tote bag, it should be big enough to fit maybe one or two binders, a couple notebooks, your pencil bag and etc.

   Heck yes, you need something bigger! You need a big tote that will hold at least two thick heavy text books. On average, you will probably have to take your fat binder and big math book home. Not to mention whatever else you wanna keep in there – so return the one you bought and look for one that’s bigger. I just bought an ‘I

    Well if you have seen a hollister tote bag or abercrombie tote bag(someone is bound to carry one around at your last school)
    I think it is a perfect size,
    You could fit all your notebooks and other items in there.
    Dont get one too big because then you will just look like an idiot(im sure you dont want to look like an idiot)
