Does it look stupid to use a messenger bag as a tote?3 replies

I have this cute Hello Kitty messenger bag but I don’t want to use it as like a messenger bag I want to use it as a regular over one shoulder kindof thing. Does that look stupid?

   Well I don’t know why you would. I don’t exactly know what you mean by messenger bag, but it doesn’t sound like it would be the cutest, no offense.

   Well, it depends. I wouldn’t say it looked stupid, but it wouldn’t look as nice if it was too long. I wear a lot of my messenger bags on one shoulder too, especially if I’m in a hurry, and I just throw it on.

   If I were you, I would just stick to a rule. If the bottom of the bag is any lower than your knee and/or the top of the bag is lower than mid-hip or lower hip (it depends on the length of the strap and how big the bag is), than just wear it messenger style. Just look in a mirror, if it seems too long and you can adjust the strap, make it a little shorter, but if you can’t, just wear it messenger style.
