Do you think it’s tacky to wear tote bags in school?8 replies

Most people at my highschool wear backpacks.
But i prefer to wear tote (shoulder) bags.

I always wear tote bags to school and i hate backpacks =/

Do you think totes are tacky or not?

   I hate backpacks too! I either get a messenger bag or a big purse!!!

   Do what feels best if you don’t like backpacks don’t wear them!! It isn’t tacky!

   that’s pretty funny because around here backpacks are tacky and tote bags are stylish. i would get one myself if my backpack weren’t always so damn heavy

   I used a tote last year and I got many compliments on it.
   Especially if you have one with a cute design on it…
   total opposite of tacky. (: Plus, it’s easier to just switch it out whenever you want to.

   I think next year I’m going to use a backpack though.
   :/ I do prefer totes, but It would be more convient for me
   because my teachers tend to hand out text books like health pamphlets. :/

   No, I feel the tote bags are very convenient. And some of them are also very beautiful. The handbags are beautiful but they are not comfortable to use in school. Here is a website which sales woman’s handbags on line:. You can look at these bags and see whether they are useful in school!
