I’m going into 9th grade and I don’t know whether to wear a backpack or a tote bag. What would you recommend?

• How do I make a tote bag from empty clean potato chip and snack food bags?
• Where can i find the American Eagle sparkly canvas tote bag in navy blue?

• Where can I buy messenger bags?
• What designers make large tote bags that can be used for school?

   I prefer messenger bags, but I am a male x ]
   So I do have some bias.

   I used a tote one year and it didn’t work out very well. All my stuff got mixed up, one of lip glosses broke under pressure and it wasn’t pretty, and it the tote would mysteriously eat my things. So make sure you use a backpack, but messenger bags are even better.

   Both are good.
   Many girls like the oversized American Eagle or Hollister bags/totes,
   cute and practical for holding all your books and items.
   Backpacks are also good, but don’t get a huge backpack and totally stuff it, so that your hitting people behind you in the face with it, because people will make comments about your, “freashman backpack.”

    I’m gonna get a Jansport and I’m going into 9th grade. Even though tote bags may seem cuter, your money is going to be well invested in a backpacks. My tote bags always break, so backpacks are perfect! And it’s not like they only come in plain colors. Backpacks aren’t something that you want to hide now, they’re a fashion statement!

    depends. if you are going to have a lot of books and it will be heavy, a tote bag won’t be the best thing for your shoulders. it is more stylish, but i doubt everyone will have one. then again, most people probably will have a tote

    In high school you’ll probably rather have a comfy backpack than a stylish but weak tote.

    haha im about ot a freshman as well honestly they are both whatever no one really cares! i like to wear both and by the way its soo not true that no one wears backpacks anymore because everyone doesss! even the most popular kid in school!

    A tote or a messenger bag would be more trendy now. They have cute ones online or at Target that will hold everything and don’t cost very much.

    Totes
    + Very cute and Stylish
    - Not too durable
    Backpacks
    + Durable and Stylish at Times
    - The more u stuff the worst they looks

    So a happy Medium would be a messenger bag
    = can be cute,durable and, affordable

    It doesn’t matter. I was a freshman a couple of years ago and it didn’t make a difference. You’re the same person no matter what you wear, so if you’re a sparkly person, it doesn’t matter what you’re carrying.
