Backpack or tote for a high school girl?7 replies

I can’t decide if I want to use a tote bag or backpack. I have noticed a lot more girls at my school are starting to use backpacks but a large amount of girls are still using tote bags. I can’t decide. Are backpacks dorky? Can anyone find some cute backpacks? Or totes?

   i think backpacks are dorky. but thats just my opinion.

   you can find a cute tote at pretty much every store, but i like to just use an oversized handbag. That way i keep my wallet and everything, plus all my school stuff together and still look really cute and pulled together.

   It depends. If you’re planning on carrying all your books with you all the time, then go with a backpack, otherwise, the tote will nearly break your arm. But if you just wanna carry the books for one or two classes, and then make a trip to your locker, then go with the tote. Personally, I think the tote looks cuter, and the day’s a lot easier if you use your locker

   The amount of stuff you have to carry around at high school is massive so i would deffo suggest a nice Roxy or animal backpack there really comfy but look really cute too. Although if you have lockers i would get a tote..
   Also, your name is Surfer chick so maybe a Roxy or animal beach chic rucksack would look good and i would add some beach braclets and that would look really sweet

   Well, that really depends.
   If you have a ton of stuff to carry, a backpack is best. There is nothing wrong with using a backpack if you need to.
   But totes are cuter and more stylish. If you don’t have a heavy amount of things to carry, go with a tote bag.
   Or whatever is comfiest

   I personally love totes… Backpacks can be cool and fit more but if you are talking about fashion, I say totes! Hollister has the cutest ones ever. But try aeropostale if you are girly

   Backpacks aren’t dorky. I usually switch off and use a backpack if I have too many books or work. Totes are easier to get things out of though and can double up as a purse. Jansport backpacks come in a variety of colors so they match with a lot of outfits. Either way, both are good. Lol

   Ok um idk about you but i had a tote bag and im in middle school but it turns out i have a slight case of scoliosis so I had to stop using that tote or else my spine would lean to my right side so now I use my backpack…but i dont mind it but if you still want a tote bag try out these websites!
