Acrylic Paint on Canvas Tote Bag?2 replies

I have a plain canvas tote bag that I want to make a little less boring for school tomorrow so I finally decided to paint the words peace love music on it but I don’t have any fabric paint. All I have is acrylic paint, will this work on the tote bag? Thanks

   yes but you wont be able to wash it

   Acrylic paint can work well on some fabrics, and usually won’t come out after washing.
   You can buy something called a textile medium, which you mix with acrylic paint. It makes it easier to paint on fabric.
   Here’s some info:
