I was wondering what you guys would put in a makeup starter kit for girls who are just starting or need some more ideas. I’m gonna start in a couple years probably, Im 12.

well….at 12 if you wear too much make up…..you start to look like a hoe…LOL but even if you are older you dont wanna start too heavy with your make up….
shadows…prolly dull; or neutral colors like grays and browns but TONS OF DIFFERENT SHADES

Nothing too dark. You have no reason to go for real dramatic looks yet. I would have a compact of powder in your skin tone, a few eyeshadow compacts (in neutral tones), an eyeliner stick (brown to go more natural), a tube of mascara, and maybe an eyelash curler.
some blush but a very subtle tone
a spoon [i curl my eyelashes with one lol]
some cool lipgloss like wetslicks from covergirl [its not sticky]
and some mascara =)
some eyeliner in a dark brown or maybe black, mascara and then neutral eyeshadows…coastalscents.com has a good 28 neutral palette for only $20…its good for beginners
i made one for my younger sister yesterday so ill tell you what i put in it:
– 18 colour eyeshadow pallete
– eyeshadow brush (i hate those annoying sponge things)
– concealer, preferably powder but they ca be hard to find (i dont really like foundation)
– eye liner
– mascara
– lip gloss a couple of shades
– blush maybe 3 colours
that should so for now. because it can be quite expensive, good luck
since you’re 12.
I think:
-mascara in brown
-eyeliner in brown
-neutral color eyeshadows
-concealer
-blush
-lipgloss
-brushes (eyeshadow, blush…)
And that should be good, maybe too much.
for you at your age just use…:
mascara-i use brown because i have brown eyes
eyeliner- make sure you get many colors. i am a beginner and i have blue,purple,gold,brown,and black
eyeshadow- get as many as you can get. i have 5 shades of brown, 2 blue,1 white,1 green,and 4 purple
that should be plenty for you and at your age and that your a beginner.
and i also resomend covergirl. it works great! and i have some of E.L.F.
Foundation, lip gloss, mascara & blush. That is all you need.
You can do colored gloss if you please, black or brown mascara and a pale pink or peach blush.
Over time you can start to try lipstick, eyeshadow etc. You don’t need concealer yet.or even eyeliner! And I am 17, I still don’t wear lip liner
a lipgloss – go for a clear one
mascara – go for brown
tinted moisturiser – not as harsh as foundation
no blusher – you are young so will have a nice natural flush,
eyeshadows – invest in a 4 pastal colour range – light pink etc.
I would also invest in a good cleanser and toner because as soon as you start using make up you need to make sure your skin is in a good condition.

i use to wear a bunch of makeup but now i dun cuz it ((times not all the time)) gives u ance. but what i wear is; black eyeliner on the top.
it has to be to the lash line. (lash line = ur eyelashes). then i put on mascara. i hve already think lashes but i wear it anyways make em’ prettyful
things u need.
pencil (any color.)
cover up/foundation.
mascara.
AND any kind of lip gloss.
