Maybe you already do good without makeup, so you probably don’t have to do anything. Look at guys, they don’t wear make up. Let it grow on you, or not be on your face or what not or not what. As long as your hair is well groomed yall be alright.

Buy an eyelash curler, it really works wonders. Make sure you take care of your skin to make it glow, try the Clinique 3-step program if you can. If not, make sure you at least wash your face and use facial moisturizer twice a day. Buy a tinted lip balm, like cherry lip smackers or something, so your lips will be smooth and taste like cherries! Also, do a face mask once a week. You can also exfoliate with a gentle exfoliating wash no more than once a week. Makeup is really not necessary.

splashing cold water on your face, this will make your pores look smaller and will give your complexion a smoother look. You can also use vaseline on your eyelashes to make them look longer, instead of mascara. I recommend using at least a bronzer just to give your skin a subtle glow.

    Cleansing

Your skin requires proper cleansing to keep it properly toned and clean. Cleansing removes the dust and stress from your face by cleaning the pores and circulating the blood supply. Use a gentle cleansing agent. Face washes are specially prepared to be effective at cleansing your skin gently and tenderly. For your body use a good mild and moisturizing soap.

    Moisturizing

It is essential to use good moisturizers since the UV rays and pollution dries your skin thoroughly and makes it lifeless. There is a range of moisturizers available in the market to suit your skin type but what is important here is to pick the right one with the right components in it. Choose moisturizers, which have anti-aging ingredients and vitamins, added to it and use it regularly. Vitamin A or Retinol and Alphahydroxy Acids are the best anti-aging agents. There are several salts of vitamin A and isotretenioin is found to have definite anti-aging properties and is very effective. It is also an effective care for acne but it dries the skin and also can give mild irritation and hence has to be used under the supervision of dermatologist. Vitamin C is found to have antioxidants and thus has a protective effect on the skin. Vitamin E is also an antioxidant and works by quenching oxygen radicals. Oxygen radicals are formed which causes damage to the skin because of pollution and ultraviolet rays. Collagen, Elastin and Hyaluronic Acid are all good moisturizers as they have a good water binding capacity. Ceramides work effectively on the skin barrier function as well as in the metabolism of the skin. However all these components have to be present in a proper concentration and then only can they be effective.

    Skin Care

Being the mirror, the barometer of an individual’s health, skin is the clue to one’s Ayurvedic constitution. This can be understood by the types of skin that one has. Example: If vata is predominant the skin of a person is dry, rough, cold, thin with fine pores and wrinkled. In case of pitta constitution, the skin is delicate, fair and red toned with freckles, moles or acne and burns easily. If the constitution is of kapha dosha the skin of a person is oily, smooth, moist and thick with a tendency towards large pores.

If the skin is not cared properly and neglected it suffers from premature aging, becomes dull and blemished. Regular consumption of milk, honey and yogurt are good nourishment for skin and prevents premature aging.

    Acne and Pimples

Stress, tension, pollution and chemicals are also among the major causes that aggravates Pitta dosha and result in acne, boils, pimples and rashes.

Make sure you have nicely waxed eyebrows, arched if you can. you can use a eyelash curler to give your lashes a lift without mascara. If your hair is done nicely that will always put your look together and of course accessorize with your outfit. I’m sure you will look just as good without all that makeup.

I disagree with you. I have a very natural (no makeup) look. I use makeup sparingly. And as always a little Sun-tan helps you look healthy and bright. I add a few drops of water to my foundation once I put the dots on my face ~ spreads thinner and still covers and gives a smooth look. I use mascara, blush and lipstick and I don’t look like I have a MASK on.

Get plenty of sleep. Wash your face ~ get the dead skin cells off by using a scrub once or twice weekly. Exercise and eat healthy ~ then you may NOT NEED MAKEUP. But everybody looks a little better with a little help from makeup.

Well if you have a killer body show a lot of cleavage & leg. Guys eyes will be drawn to the skin & not your face. If that’s not an option put a paper bag over your head. U ever hear the phrases “Butter Face” or “2 Bagger”? Hope this helps.

Tinted moistuizer works wonders on your skin. It is great cause we all should be applying a moisturizer anyway and it gives your face an even tone without lots of time spent applying makeup!

    Philosophy’s makeup optional

I haven’t use this specifically, but lots of brides talked about it when I was getting married. Said it works great; I’ve used their other products and love them.

From a nutritional standpoint 3 things stand out.

    1. Omega-3 big time. It does your skin wonders… supplements 3/day is good.

    2. AVOID sugar like the plague. Sugar messes up your skin like no-ones business. Try it for one month… you will notice huge difference.

    3. Basically the south beach diet. No carbs, lots of veggies and protein. I’ve seen it work almost miracles on men and women’s skin.

But its just my opinion that I have seen and experienced. Good luck.

Here’s a few steps you can follow to get flawless skin:

    (1) Get a professional facial- they will be able to unclog your pores, which will clear your face of acne if you have any

    (2) Get a facial cleanser thats appropriate for your skintype—and then use it twice a day, once in the morning and once before bed

    (3) Get an exfoliator with fruit acids and exfoliate 1-2 times per week to get rid of dead skin cells on the surface that can clog pores and cause acne

    (4) Use an eye cream every night before bed to help any discoloration, hyperpigmentation, or dark circles. I recommend Cinique’s All About Eyes Rich (I use it and it help a lot)

    (5) If you do have a breakout, don’t apply foundation because this will further clog pores. Also, never pick at a pimple because this will cause it to linger longer, and it may cause scarring

    (6) If you have any serious skin issues, you can consider getting a face peel, which can reduce appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, discoloration

    (7) Don’t touch your face, because the oils from your hands can clog pores. Also, don’t let your face rest on a phone, for the same reason

    (8) Wear a suncreen when you go outside, even if its cloudy. This will keep your skin looking younger, longer and prevent sun damage

    (9) If your skin is normal or dry, use a moisturizer in the morning after cleansing

    (10) If you want a natural look without feeling like you’re wearing a mask, try using a tinted moisturizer with SPF instead of foundation. Laura Mercier and Clinique have great ones. Also, try a brown mascara and a lip balm to smooth lips and givde them a little boost of shine. You can also try a bit of cream blush on just the apples of your cheeks for a natural glow and some added color.

    Finally, drink lots of water!!!

Bare Essentual Minerals is great for skin, wont cause breakouts what so ever. And also use an eye lash curler (Shu Uemura from Sephora is the best) and a nice subtle red/pink tinted lip gloss. That’s it!

Done right, makeup doesn’t look like a mask. With the exception of foundation, I don’t see makeup as a means to hide flaws, but rather as a way to accentuate the beauty that is already there – like a well-placed vase of fresh flowers in an already pretty room. And just like with interior design, less is more.

That’s not to say that every room must have flowers in it. LOL. No makeup is perfectly fine too. The best way to pull off any look – makeup or not – is to just have confidence. If you truly believe that you look good, then everyone else will too. Sounds silly, but honest-to-God it’s true!
