What are the best makeup products/brands to by from your local cvs or walgreens store?4 replies

I cant afford Mac products or any other really good makeup brand. So what are the best makeup brands to get from your local store?

I can never find good eyeshadows, I want shimmery beautiful colors that dont look chalky or cheap.. any brand suggestions?

I dont need foundation bc I use bare minerals, but any other suggestions for mascaras, eyeshadows, eye liners (pref liquid) etc?

   Mac really isn’t that expensive. Some of those brands at the drug store can be close to or about the same price as Mac. But sorry I don’t think any of them are any good. I only use and recommend Mac. Their lipstick is like 14 bucks which really isn’t that much more than Loreal. Besides most of those brands test on animals Mac does not and 100% of the profits from their Viva Glam lipstick goes to the research of aids. So all around Mac is worth spending twice the price.

   My all-time favorite mascara is Maybelline Full & Soft, which I get at CVS for about $6. It doesn’t clump or look fake, but it does make my lashes look really thick.

   For liquid eyeliner, I like Cover Girl Line Exact Liner. It’s like a very fine felt-tip pen that is super-easy to apply and lasts a long time. You can use it to make a very fine line or a bolder line. I use the gray color for every day and the black for dressing up. Again, about $6 at CVS.

   I wear Clinique makeup for everything else, but I actually like the Maybelline mascara and Cover Girl eyeliner better than those made by Clinique.
