I use liquid foundation and pressed powder to set the foundation. Yet, im trying to get that fresh dewy look that i see models, celebrities and so many young women today. I need to have it be medium/buildable coverage with a flawless look. Is there a certain makeup or technique for me to achieve this? And i dont want it to rub off. HELP ME PLEASE! Thanks.

You mean the JLO look? That’s what I call it! Well for summer since I get a little tan I like (Benefit’s Hollywook Glow $26). I put on primer because it is a very essential step for keeping foundation in place if you have combo/oily skin. Next I put my foundation as usual (Origins Reflection Perfection) is very matte and has no mica, which helps because I won’t end up looking like a drag queen with big chuncks of glitter. Then comes the HOLLYWOOD GLOW from Benefit. I put a couple dots on my cheeks, forehead and chin and blend. With the remaining left on the brush I swipe it on my nose up and down. Set your look with minimal powder (use a powder brush). If you don’t have very oily skin, skip the powder and you’re done.

I’m 14 but do make-up for alot of people.DO NOT USE:liquid foundation it gives a cake look , also get rid of that pressed powder. loose goes on a lot better and makes it look like you are not wearing any makeup at all.I would STRONGLY RECCOMEND:sheer cover you can find it online i will look for it and get back to you. the best is translucent it goes on very nicely with all skin types by the way i also have medium skin and this is the make up i use it is amazing.translucent like i was saying before covers everything great for foundation for other aspects use clinique get sunburst shimmery beige goes on your lower lid then with the brush end of your applicator take the pinkish peach and apply from the crease of your eye to the brow using a swivel motion also apply it to the outer corner of your eye. also get clinique mascara it reduces your eyelashes sticking together also applying from bottom to top with swivel motion for blush get 02 honey blush it is actually soft pressed which is actually ok with blush as long as it isn’t hard pressed apply to the apples of your cheeks and the tip of your nose to give a more natural look also would reccomend the elizabeth arden face brush which is specifically for loose and soft pressed powder you can use this for the foundation and blush.

    TIP:

this makeup is buildable also all this make up is medically proven to be good for your skin reducing acne and redness
like a face wash would do also all this makeup is hypoallergenic though is not stated on the label if you need any more help let me know with another question specifically for karrot_06

    GOOD LUCK!!!
