How do I get motivated to wear makeup without feeling like I’m trying too hard to look good?4 replies

My main concern has been cleansing and removing all traces of makeup, especially around the eyes, and this has made me shy away from makeup by the age of maturity. Well, at 23 I feel that if I don’t wear makeup, I’m going to be missing something big!

Am I experiencing quarter-life crisis?

I think that the natural look is so much better if you can pull it off. However, if you’d really like to wear make up I would use it just to enhance your own features without caking makeup on.

I don’t know, bu8t by maturing your makeup a bit, you can probably help to eliminate this feeling.

Never go out wearing bubblegum pink anywhere on your face again!

Wear grown up, brown eyeshadow on your upper lid and not underneath..

Buy a Face Primer..it’s worth it!

I have to agree with “A”. Most ladies tend to forget the real essence of make up. It is just supposed to make a final polish of your real beauty. However, most girls end up over doing it!

Well, how much make up do you put on your face? If it’s only pressed powder, concealer and lipstick/gloss, that’s pretty enough! Do you apply it in a thick way or like air whip?

As what most people say, the lesser the better! So, if you only put enough amount of make up just to enhance your facial features, then you’re not trying too hard, ok?=)
