How do I create a black eye using makeup?3 replies

I need to create a black eye with makeup for an upcoming photoshoot.

What makeup (or paint) do I use?

I know I have to make it look like a bruise with reds, purples and yellows, but I don’t know what materials to use.
I’ve seen many people use paint.

Thanks.

Use kohl beneath your eye and start rubbing with a sponge. On the outer part of the half circle put on some foundation to blend it in. Try a little green to make it look more “bruisey”. Repeat on the top lid. Hope that helped :D

I think that if you use paint it will be very bold and fake looking.
If you use eye shadow, I think that it will be thin enough to make it look more realistic.

If there is a really thin paint, then that might be good, but I think that you should use eye shadow, and I think a foundation sponge would work well for spreading it.

    Hope that helped, good luck!

go to your local drug store and just buy loose powder eyeshadow , in purple, black, and red it gets a good effect but more purple then any other color and make shure the color is dark and not like a lavender … DARK DARK DARK
