would you choose a fake or a authentic LV?8 replies

In norway the first LV-store opened this weekend, but I have noticed ALOT of people(rich and semirich people) walking around with LV-purses and bags before this. Ofcourse they could have bought it in another country or something, I don’t have the eye to tell whether they are fake or not. But I’ve read somewhere that only 1% of all the LV bags and purses on the market is authentic!!

But I stumbled over this market, and he was selling LV, and they look really authentic, and cost just around 200 norwegian kroner, which is about 30 $ or something. I know it’s illegal and that it is bad for LV., but there and then I really wanted one..(didn’t buy one though)

So my question is: what would you do?

i honestly would go and buy a trendy winter bag and not worry about what celebrities carry around to make fashion designers rich.

I would’ve bought the purse because more likely than not the people that you know (not to offend) wouldn’t be able to tell a fake from a authentic or wouldn’t even care.

Unless you have more money than you know what to do with, don’t buy an authentic…they cost WAYYYY too much money.

I would personally never carry a knockoff….it is so obvious and so very ghetto.

I am a designer purse addict. I have seen a ton of fake out purses most of them LV. My feeling on the subject is that I don’t think I could buy a fake one just because I would know the diffrence. If im going to buy a purse im going to buy it for the craftmanship and for its ability to last a lifetime and so that when I pay for it the money goes to the people who actully made the bag rather then someone who is selling them out of the back of his car.

Maybe for some people it’s hard to differentiate the authentic from the fake ones. But if you buy the original bag, you’re not just buying the bag, but you’re also buying the confidence (and it’s priceless!) They do cost you much money for something, you get best quality, durability, etc. So if I may suggest, if the brand new original is costing way too much money, you could buy the second hand original bag.

I personally wouldnt buy a fake bag. Fake bags usually support horrible things like drug cartels & the bag will probably fall apart after a few times of use. If you want a cute designer bag try looking for vintage LV bags or designers that arent as expensive like coach.

i say if you can afford the real deal go ahead if not why not a fake and if you are worried about what other people think you are buying for the wrong reason any way
