Well, she’s just like any other girl/woman, so nothing to worry about (unless she’s burning a hole in your pocket).

you could always try to encourage her to take up a more….productive hobby or collection.

as to why…the women who do such dont even know why.

I can’t stand the shoe and handbag fetish. It’s like candy for some women, they just can’t get enough. I don’t know how they got my address, but I get this big glossy magazine for Dooney & Bourke and it’s got a bunch of high fashion models with handbags in pretty girly colors and patterns. They have a Dooney & Bourke Barbie doll, too. In my town, we have this shop that’s a combination day spa, shoe boutique and handbag store. They shove this stuff down our throats. My bag: a $24 Manhattan Portage, shoes: cross trainers (always clean of course). I’m feminine, but I don’t need a $400 purse or $2,000 worth of shoes to prove it. But teenagers are notorious for following trends and trying to fit in with the “in” crowd.

Are you a man or transgendered man who adopted your child?
Perhaps you were brought up on a farm in the middle of nowhere………………..
you have established she is a girl so why the question?
    …….Its as natural as puberty!!!
……….does madness run in your family??

    Simply put………GIRL = SHOES + HANDBAGS…..AMEN

Because she is not “mad” about you. We as women have to put our passion somewhere. It is meant to be on the male from whom our source of energy and life comes. If you begin to spend meaningful time with her and assure her of how wonderful she is without all the material possessions, there will be less space in her life for purses and shoes. (This is not to imply that you do not already spend time with her and are a wonderful parent.) However, she is looking for something to be filled that she is using bags and shoes to fill. Let her know that she is fine without all that stuff and that YOU think that she is the most wonderful woman in the world. Yes, actually say it. Then take her for walks, but her flowers for no reason, let her fix the car or cut grass with you. That is better than any pair of shoes or purse that money could buy!!! (Take it from a daughter who knows!!!!)

Studies show there are three types of people who like to shop a lot – those who are quite young, those who like to do a lot of socialising and those who are very anxious about their appearance. Most ordinary people just shop for basics – work clothes, t-shirts, etc. Although I’m not a woman who shops a lot, I do notice that if you lose or gain weight, your clothes won’t fit, but your shoes and handbags always will – so fashion wise they’re probably a good investment :-)

No way do you have a daughter.
    Wait, no, it should read:
No way should you be allowed to have a daughter.
    Wait, no, it should read:
I do not believe you have been able to have a child.
    Was it a sperm bank?

females are attracted to accessories clothes etc. Especially if your daughter is in the middle of puberty and is starting to grow up their mind attracts to the opposite gender and so she wants to impress males. If not she is young and loves to have fun dressing up like a young girl. Your daughter couuld be becoming a women and naturally we like hanbags shoes etc. Dont worry.Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!

Neither shoes nor handbags ever make you look fat. Bottom line. And you can buy them without feeling badly about yourself…
