   Because stupid people find in necessary to purchase them due to the brand name, thus raising the price to ridiculous levels. WASTE OF MONEY.

   I”m not exactly sure, but my guess would be because of the Louis Vuitton name itself. You could get the ugliest thing you’ve ever seen, but the second you say “oh its Louis Vuitton”, everyone talks about how wonderful it looks.
