I’ve been to Chinatown in NYC and I’m going to LA in a few weeks. I would like to know the best area(s) to buy fake purses. We’ll be traveling between LA and San Diego, so if anyone is aware of other places beyond LA that info would be great too. Thanks in advance for all the help!!

Why would you want to steal from a designer??
They work hard to create new styles, and the cheap chinatown knock off look just like CHEAP chinatown knock offs! Sorry, but it is just wrong!
It would be like, say you are a waitress, and someone comes to your work, decides they don’t want to tip you, so they go order from the kitchen pick up their own food, leave a HUGE mess for you, and you are the one that gets shafted! Cheating is cheating.

That would be Santee Alley, which is between Santee Street and Maple Avenue, from Olympic Boulevard to 12th Street. Bring your cash and negotiating skills.

Don’t go on Broadway, walk from 4th street to 11th street on Los Angeles street(or whatever it is).

It is illegal to buy fake knock off. All of the places get raided daily. I have two friends fighting their cases in court now for buying knocks off at the Alley (Santee Street) in downtown L.A.
