You can get coach at a coach outlet for 40% off. Most states have one. It is worth the drive. I got a $500 bag for a little over $250. You can’t beat that!

A Coach Outlet store is a very good place to buy authentic Coach bags from. The discounts vary, and so do the Coach products. The Coach Outlet stores carry two types of Coach products: Discontinued products, and Factory Store products (these are clearly identified as being ‘factory’ items on the price tag for items other than bags. The Factory bags are marked both on the price tag, and on the inside as well – the serial number always begins with an ‘F’ for these items). The Factory items are not necessarily lesser quality than the other products, however, the return policy is slightly different for these products.
As I mentioned, the discount varies. It can range from 20% off to 50% off. Sometimes, they will offer clearance items at a substantially higher discount. I once purchased a $698 retail price bag for $244.99, before tax. It was 50% off, and it was on clearance as well. The clearance items have a price on the tag which is written in red ink next to the retail price. This is the price to which the discount applies, not to the retail price. At certain times of the year, they also offer an additional 10% off on their products. This may, or may not be valid for items on clearance – it depends.
As you can see, there are some great bargains to be found at a Coach Outlet store. Just keep in mind that the merchandise available for sale at any given time will be constantly changing. Normally, when Coach drops an item from their full price stores, it will go directly to the Outlet stores. Depending on the demand for any particular item, you may, or may not be able to find what you are looking for because if the demand is high for an item, it will sell out quickly. Your best bet is to take your time when shopping the Coach Outlet stores. If you don’t see anything you like, go back to the store a week or two later to see if anything has been added to their inventory which is often the case. Also, of you have more than one Outlet store in your area, be sure to shop the other ones as well since the merchandise varies at each location. So, while a particular item may be in one store, another location may or may not have received the same item(s) to put up for sale. It varies be location.
