Well I’ve always seen women put cucumber slices over their eyes, but I’ve never actually tried it myself. I usually just use coverup!

Garnier Frutis has a product for this. It’s actually on sale now in CVS.

Put cold tea leaf bags (like lipton or any other sort) on your eyes and relax. Or the cucumber thing. Even potatoes thinned slices, work really well for bags under eyes.

Placing cut cucumbers on your eyes for a few minutes a day is an old trick, that acually works.

I’ve heard that slices of cucumber on your eyes do the trick. I can never get that far as the cucumber never gets past my mouth

I’ve HEARD that people have used hemmerhoid ointment to reduce the puffiness….but you might want to double check on that. And the above I have heard…..cukes, teabags…make-up. Bare minerals products are nice, but if you’re looking for less expensive…the cover girl concealers work pretty well. I buy the one in the tube…make a few dots under my eyes, and blend. Then finish it with a little loose powder.

take 2 metal spoons and lay them on your eyes for like 10mins or take something natural (q-cumber) and cut a slice and lay on your eyes>>>>>>>> =)

its true about the haemmohroid cream, it tightens the skin, bodybuilders use it before a show to tighten the skin and define their muscles more, but you could stick to teabags, cucumbers or even cold spoons x

people seem to think that cucumbers work, but it is more to calm the skin…potatoes have something in them that lightens dark shadows so put a slice of potato under your eyes for a few minutes a coup[le times a week

Most of it is genetic. I have them to. Just get lots of sleep, and try not be stressed to much. I also have heard that when you cry a lot under eye circles appear darker. Not sure if it’s true tho. Also drink plenty of water. Getting a bit of color in your face as well as putting cold spoons under eyes may help. Get ShiSeido Benefiance Revitalizing Cream. I got mine from Macy’s and just a tiny dab of it does wonders on dark circles. I have pretty bad ones so this is all from experience.

    Hope this helps. :)

you can use cold teabags because the caffeine in them helps wake you up. also, i heard putting blistex lip medex on it helps too if you put it on every night. it does make your eyes water though.
there are more tips on this site! :)

    Spoons.
Sounds mental but if you keep two soup spoons in the fridge every night,
And when you wake up for breakfast you place them on your eyes for three minutes..
    OMG.
    They Work Wonders ;)

alot of people dont realise that ‘sleeping bags’ are actually a gene given to you when born. so you cant get rid of them. there are tricks to disguise them, but when your tired, and i find this in myself, sometimes disgusing them with makeup makes it worse.

first off i’d use “Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller” it has the vitamin b5 in it which reduces swelling. or a face masque which you leave on over night to reduce swelling.

i’d then get plenty plenty of vitimans

but the things is, you’ve basically said it yourself ‘lack of sleep’ your always gonna have them till you get a proper nights sleep, its very obvious.

Well yeah, more sleep is the best though i have the same problem and that doesn’t seem to work!
A temporary solution would be to use a concealer – ones around £10 are usually best for the sensitive skin around your eyes cos unlike cheaper ones which make it look worse, it hides dark circles and is defo worth the extra cash.
As for actually getting rid of the problem, try relaxing in a bath with cold cucumber slices/tea soaked cotton wool pads or tea bags over your eyes. I know it sounds silly and never seems to work but after a few days, you really will see a difference.
Try not to worry though, everyone has this problem. It will go in time.. my advice? sleep girl sleep! :)

If you are fretting over the deep dark circles under your eyes, don’t worry. This article offers some natural solutions to that problem.

As always, you have to start from the inside:

Drink plenty of water to help circulation and removal of toxins – it is always good for the skin.
Drink a glass of chrysanthemum tea every day. This will clear up your eyes and skin.
Eat a lot of carrots. They are rich in beta carotene – excellent for the skin and eyes.
Eat fruits that are rich in Vitamin C, which can strengthen your blood vessels and clear up your skin.
    Facial Masques and Massages

If the cause of the dark circles is just inadequate sleep, try the quick remedy of putting ice on your eyes.
Soak cotton balls in milk and use them to cover your eyes for 15 minutes.
Rub your hands until your palms are very warm. Then cover your eyes with your palms for 30 seconds.
Rub your hands until your palms are very warm. Massage all around your face as if you are washing your face.
Open your eyes wide, and look up, then down and then right and left. Repeat 10 times. Do this every morning and evening.
These tips do work – but if you don’t get enough sleep, even if you use all these methods, your eyes will still be swollen and dark.
