What do you think of guys who bring their messenger bags everywhere?11 replies

I was going to the mall with one of my friends and we took the bus. When he got on and saw I brought my messenger bag he said “Wow! Only girls and gays bring their messenger bags everywhere like you, you’re using it like a purse…”. The whole way there we were arguing about this lol >_>. Anyways I was just wondering what you guys think about this?

I don’t actually bring it everywhere… just to places where I need to. Like I brought it to the mall that day because I was trading in some games at EB Games (9 games) and I put them in the bag. Or sometimes if I go to a friends house and he/she wants to borrow a movie, game or book I might bring the bag depending how big what he wants to borrow is. I don’t bring it if I’m going to a restaurant, or to clothing stores, parties, etc. He just says I bring it everywhere cause I guess it’s easier than being specific.

   no offense but thats kinda dorky. guys dont wear messenger bags at our school not even for school! they just carry their stuff, probably to show off muscles, but neways it sounds dorky.

   Man Purses…I have a friend that carries his around all the time, but he’s gay so I assumed it was acceptable….Not so sure straight guys should do this all the time…going to class (college), it’s fine, but the mall…What is that important that you need to carry a man purse with you? All you need is a wallet (back pocket), cell phone (front pocket), and chewing gum (your mouth)…

   EDIT: Wait, are you Asian? Asian guys look okay when they carry them…

   Straight Guys have stuff to carry too! I think that looks better than having pockets absolutely stuffed with a wallet, comb, keys, change, phone, chap stick, and other stuff.

    Your friend is correct. Ditch the bag, unless you like what it does for you image. Which will not be masculine.

    Maybe they r just yealous because u have one and they don’t!
    I thin that guys who cary their messenger bags look good and hott, because their is nothing wrong with that!
    All man should cary bags in my opinion! There is not a law that says that only girls can cary them, because guys can too, and they should!
