I am going on a holiday, one of my cousin told that keeping makeup in your handbag with you is restricted… is it true? can we seriously not have any make up stuff or perfumes etc in our hand bags?

Thanks

You’ll have to put all your makeup (liquids and gels) into a clear plastic bag to go through the scanner seperately. Each bottle must be under 100 ml.

I don’t think that’s a restriction because when I was in the U.K. going to France I had make-up in my bag. But I wasn’t checked because I went to Dover for the ferry…. But I highly doubt that it’s a big problem. Maybe it’s just a problem if you have a big amount. Check with the agency you’re traveling with or the point you’ll be crossing into the country. Have fun! (I don’t think there an actual handbag rule either!)

Come on. Really. It’s been in all the papers, magazines, even in your holiday brochure.
Where are you going? It all depends you see. If you were going to Spain, then you are allowed up to 340ml of rancid sheep milk or 6Litres of fine Cognac. To Greece, European law says you must take a fallow deer with each purchase of Marlboro Lights. Holidaying in Dominican Republic? Remember to take that excursion to Haiti to see the real Caribbean.
