What are some things i can make with recycling paper or plastic bags?6 replies

I need to make a model recycling something. i decided to recycle plastic bags or paper but i don’t know what to make. Can anybody help?

   You can use plastic bags to make plarn(plastic yarn) and use it to crochet great items,such as handbags.

   You can make an origami project out of the paper. I used recycled newspaper to place underneath my cat’s litterbox. The plastic bags I use to scoop them out. Other plastic bags, I return to the store so they can be reused. What can you make out of recycled paper? How about insulation for your house? That might work.

   You best bet you be to choose a sturdier material because the will offer more functionality (Such as plastic cups, soda cans, tires) with these things you can build furniture, and things like that. The most functionality that you will get from paper is to try to cover stuff with it and or paint it or burn it. plastic bags you can make something water prof or bigger bags lol

   Absolutely; here’s how to make a braided rug: Slit those pesky plastic bags down each side (so that you now have one long plastic piece). Now fold them lengthwise in half, and keep folding them in half until you have a piece about one and one half to two inches wide. When you have three of these, braid them together. You will then have one long braid. Continue this process to create as many braids as you will need for the size rug you want. Attach each to the other by stapling or sewing them together with fishing line. Then begin winding them into a braided rug as you sew them to the side of each other. When the rug is the size you want it, you can then paint it what ever color you want using a spray paint for made to paint plastic. This makes a great mat for porch, or anywhere! Hope this helps.

   Hi, I have seen people on youtube making all sorts of things out of those plastic bags you get at the grocery store. Purses, rugs, that sort of thing. The great thing about the rugs is that you can just rinse them off to clean them, great for using on your porch. I hope this helps you a little.
