Okay, a school has banned non-see through bags. The bag must be a net bag or made of a plastic material that is clear [Recently, they banned the net bags]. They have also banned carrying bottles outside of the cafeteria.
These are some things being done to prevent students from carrying guns, bombs, knives, etc.
Any alternatives? The bags that they require are not durable. The bottle ban must be harsh on athletes, when I attended that school water in the water fountains are kept at random temperatures at night so I brought my own drinks.

Some schools issue a set of text books to be kept at home to eliminate the need for back packs.
Although the only bags I can think of are over the shoulder beach bags that are durable and see thru, just wait a bit and designers are going to be all over this.
As this becomes a requirement to help keep schools safe the fashion industry will quickly tapp into this. And there will be plenty of bags to choose from.
