You know, I’m thinking buying used mono speedy 30. However, after i buy the bag, I want to take it to LV store to clean the leather. Do i need to have a receipt in order to get my leather cleaned? or get any other service? Do i need to show them any reciept or proof to get served? I heared that When your bag break, they fix it for you. Would they do it for me even though i didn’t buy from that store? Im buying from ebay. But it is authentic.
when i say served I mean like.. cleaning canvas, exchanging bags.

if you dont have the recipt there will be a charge for cleaning
um and ebay…sorry but I bought a speedy there too and it looked real good, and seemed nice they had good feedback and took it into store and they told me it was fake!!!
It depends how old the bag is. If the bag is more than 2 years old, then LV will charge you for cleaning and repairs. They can tell how old it is from the bag’s datecode.
You do not need a receipt because every authentic bag is purchased from Louis Vuitton…what I mean is, Louis Vuitton doesn’t wholesale their items so EVERY authentic bag was sold by one of their stores and they are all owned by LV. I hope that makes sense. Anyway, they will clean the monogram canvas for you but it’s not free. They also charge for repairs unless it is a new bag that shouldn’t have broken. They don’t pay for normal wear and tear damage.
