I’m a single mother of a 17 month old baby girl. Her father doesn’t help support her and i’m not working. It’s very hard to make ends meet at the momemt pay rent, food, utilities etc, but i do want to find a job and get my life back on track.
I have this Authentic louis vuitton bag that was given to me as a gift. it was $2,400.00. I reckon i could get 1,500,00+ on ebay for it. Should i sell it? i love it, but hardly ever use it. The money would come in handy.

This should really be a no-brainer for you. Yes, you should sell it. However, be certain that it is a genuine Louis Vuitton. Unless you have friends or relatives that are LOADED with money, I don’t think anyone would just GIVE you a $2400 handbag for a gift. There are many, many fakes on the market (Louis Vuitton seems to have a lot of problems in this area) and some of them are very difficult to tell. The fakes will even have “serial number” tags and stamps on them. IF you sell a fake item on ebay there can be some serious consequences, so be careful.

I would sell it. It may be hard to part with, but your child is worth it. Since you don’t use it much it won’t be missed as much. I know it’s nice to have, however when you find yourself in a better way you can buy another. Even though it was a gift I’m sure the person who gave it to you would rather you be OK financially then have the cutest purse around. Sometimes being a good parent means making sacrifices. Good luck with whatever you decide, and take her bum of a father for some child support…it’s his job.

Yes, it’s quite a good and correct choice. Your baby is important than a bag.
