Shoe Pavilion and GUCCI handbag?3 replies

I went to the San Marcos Outlets today and went to the “Shoe Pavilion” store. While I was looking at the handbags that they had, there was 1 GUCCI bag that said it was “Authentic” and had a price of about $1200 but was on sale for $999 and still had a 20% discout. They also had some Prada bags. My question: Could this GUCCI bag be real?? Are they allowed to sell those kinds of bags there?? THANKS!!!

Hmmm…I think you can only find the real deal at the actual Gucci store. That goes for the other brands too. On the other hand, maybe they do sell bags that are discontinued or last years design to lower end stores to sell cheaper. You can try calling Gucci direct and ask.

The store could have purchased those bags from the Gucci outlet in either New York State or at the outlet in Italy. It is best to ask Gucci is that store is authorized to sell their bags. They’ll more than likely say no.

Yeah I think they are authentic. Many other stores carry real Gucci other than the Gucci store. Especially for that price it seems right. Big stores like Shoe Pavillion couldn’t get away with selling fake products anyway, its very illegal.
