Is this bag authentic?7 replies

I really like Vivienne Westwood bags, but I can’t find her bags anywhere in the US. According to her website her bags are sold in boutiques all over the world like europe, japan, china, australia….but not in the US for some reason. The only place I can find them is on ebay, but I’m not sure if they are authentic or not. What do you think of these bags? I’m thinking the first one may be authentic, but I’m not so sure about the second one. Thanks for your help!

   1. the starting bid is 21–that should tell you it is not authentic
   2. it is fugly
   3. there is a big controversy (last week) over ebay selling fake bags,etc. the high end companies are pissed because ebay is selling knock offs as real.

   im not aware much of Vivienne Westwood but i am very aware of other designers out there and i can tell you that i think the first one is authentic but i advise you to do some research on google or even search it here on Yahoo Answers

   Goodness no, those are replicas.

   Rule of thumb:

   #1 authentic, designer purses typically do not cost < than a hundred or hundreds of dollars.

   #2 authentic, designer purses do not come with a tacky label/price tag on the handle.

   #3 authentic, designer purses typically come with a serial number and an authenticity card that has the manufacturers logo embossed on the front and information about the product.
