my boyfriends aunt sells louis vuittons and my boyfriend bought me one for christmas so i was wondering if it’s real or fake.
i would take pictured but my camera broke. 
this is the kind of bag i have and the leather is the same color.
it’s a used bag so i don’t have any authentic papers or whatever it comes with.
i noticed that on that bag there is only one line of stitch on the bottom of the bag. mine has two.
you can kind of see on that picture that the lighter leather has red trim.
mine has that but on some places it goes onto the lighter leather.
the stitching is out on some places. i’m not sure if it’s because it’s old or what.
my purse has cloth straps not leather like the picture.
i know nothing about designer bags.
please don’t give me websites because i’ve looked at a lot and i’m still not sure.
it’s a great gift and it doesn’t matter to me if it’s fake or not.

Its fake Louis has real leather straps not cloth.
Knockoffs arent hot and most people can tell if they’re fake.
Yeah its real cause i have a small one but different and it had the same leather so yeah its real!
I’m not really sure if it’s real…i kinda doubt it..but I don’t think it matters. Designer bags are just a waste of money. Also, your differences are pretty small, so no one would really notice.

Well if it’s a lady selling them out of her house odd are it’s fake. I can’t see why people pay those prices for a purse but hey that’s another story.
as long as it has the louis vuitton like brand name and est. date on it on the inside it most likely is real
It’s fake cause the real luis vuitton inside has red leather! The silver thing that opens the bag should be gold! But don’t worry! It’s a nice bag and at the first site it doesn’t look fake!
unless your bf’s aunt works for LV, then she is selling fake bags. this means your bf bought a fake bag from her and gave it to you
sorry to break your heart, but giving a fake bag as a gift is tacky.
Well the bag in the picture looks fake. If yours is a Montsouris backpack then it IS meant to have cloth straps. If the leather is the same colour as in the pic then it is fake. The leather is meant to start out as a very pale light beige colour and over time it will turn a dark honey colour, if it is orangey than it isn’t real. You could always take it to a Louis Vuitton boutique and they will be able to tell you if it is real or not.
I don’t recall Louis Vuitton ever making a backpack style with cloth straps. You could call any Louis Vuitton store and ask them. (get the phone number from Louisvuitton.com) or when your camera is fixed, go to mypoupette.com and for a very small fee they can authenticate it for you through photos. Most people on here don’t have a clue about spotting a fake. You could even go to purseblog.com and ask the question there…now those girls are pro’s!
