I plan on buying a heavy bag. I’m thinking of buying a muay thai heavy bag if I can open it up. It’s 80 pounds but I want it atleast 150. Can I just open it up and add some sand bags to weigh it down? Thanks.

no the stiching is designed for that weight any more and it will break
No it wont work properly with the stitching and instead you should just go ahead and buy a new bag. Ringside has a good selection we just bought 5 new ones for a decent price.
