How often do you have to replace the special bags for the diaper genie?5 replies

i bought one to replace my diaper champ but wanting to know how ofter you have to buy those special bags?

   We don’t solely use the diaper genie…..we use the reg. trash can when downstairs changing a diaper. But we go through about 1 a month and we empty it 2x a week.

   My daughter is 6 months so we change it every 10 days but I got the champ instead. I really don’t like the genie the champ is easier and can use regular trash bags but it does tend to smell…..but I still prefer it over the genie.

   I would go back to the champ. I love mine. We were in a horrible car accident and my children were hospitalized for a week. I stayed at the hospital and did not come home once.
   When I got home I had to empty the champ. My house did not smell at all even though it had been over a week since it had been emptied.
