I’m going on a trip soon to Colorado and I have two bags that I want to check. How many bags do let you check for free and if its only one how much money is it to check one more bag?
Thanks :)

Look on your ticket – it states the number of bags, the size limit of the bags, the weight and how much it costs per pound over. If you have not printed out all the information go online and check it up as it varies.

Ellie, United charges for each bag checked, if you are flying in economy. When you check in for your flight, up to 24 hours in advance at United’s website, you can pay for your baggage charges and save $5 per bag. The first bag is $15, the second is $25, INCLUDING the $5 savings. If you pay at the airport it will cost you 2 x $5. This charge is for each way.

    Regards,
    Dan
