There is a serial number and tag sewn in a hidden place in the purse and it should match the one on the snap:)

There are actually many ways to tell. Look at the print make sure it’s evenly spaced. The print will always only go one way. Inside there should be a serial number stamped somewhere as well. If you can find the serial number an employee at LV can tell you, however I think they need to see the bag in person too just to verify that it isn’t a stolen number.

Here’s a great site for information on what to look for.

It depends where you got it and how much you paid for it ( if it was cheap, like under 600) . You should also check the inside. If it is rough, it is most likely cheaply made – so fake. Check the hardware for paint scratches. Check if it says Louis Vuitton in small on the hardware.
If you are still not sure, post pics of the inside and outside of the bag & hardware and I will be able to tell you.
Also you good try going to a good mall and into a Louis Vuitton store and ask them, they are the best judges!

Most good fake bags have the same details as authentic one’s, but this is easy…where did you buy it?? Louis Vuitton doesn’t wholesale their items. This means that it is impossible for anyone to sell their handbags. There are no sales, no outlet stores, and no factory seconds. There are also no “my friend works there and gets a deal”, don’t fall for that one either. You can go to an LV boutique and confirm this, or go to mypoupette.com and they will authenticate it for you through photos.
