it has the leather dooney and bourke logo tag inside & the swan or logo chain type thing hanging.
if its real it has a little leather patch inside of it and it has the name and it usually says where it was made and it has a id number and then you know its real thats what my bags from there have and they are 100% real

Fortunately, D&B is not faked a lot so most are just “inspired” and are really obviously not Dooney. Make sure it has the small leather tag on the inside that says Dooney&Bourke, and make sure it’s sewn in, not glued. Make sure it has a red&blue cloth tag that says Dooney&Bourke and has a serial number on the back. Make sure the zipper is rainbow-colored (for most dooneys, but not all). Also, if it says Made in China, that doesnt mean its fake because I have real ones that say that. Hope this helps!!
