If yo have any doubt, it’s fake. If you ever went to a store and looked at real ones, the difference in the quality of the leather and other material is instantly obvious.
i have a louis vuitton bag too that i dont know if its real. around my area there is a louis vuitton store opening up. im going there to see if its real. find a local louis vuitton store and ask an associate to look it over and find out if its worth something. good luck!
ps. if the print on the opposite side is upside down, its fake. its the easiest way to figure out if its real or not.
Is your girlfreind a wealthy heiress…most Louis Vuitton bags START at over $300. It comes in its own dust bag, there is a tag inside with the LV name and a serial number, and the workmanship is impeccable. Take it to a store, where they sell LVs….like Saks Fifth Ave., Bloomingdales, Nordstorms and let a salesperson look at it.

the monogram LV is never cut off,, its always fully shown, so if someone has a LV like at the creases where the stiching goes and its cut off, its a phony.
After a while, the handles on the bag should turn a diffrent color! possibly darker than it was when you bought it..
if your bag came in plastic etc its fake..
and the price..if you payed less than $400, then its prob fake
go to a REPLICA website, and then go to the REAL louis vuiton website and compare your bag..thats what I did!!
I think you just ‘know’ if its real, LV bags are real leather, the stitching and detail would be immaculate, the gold on the zip wouldn’t be brashy looking and there would be a serial code on the inside.
If still in doubt visit, click onto shop online, find your bag and compare to the picture, do the LV’s line up the same etc.
Louis Vuitton is a very expensive brand, for someone to just give one away which was authentic would be quite rare I would imagine.
it’s probably fake no one really buy expensive bag for a friend they would keep it for myself she found out it is fake and passed it off to you
the quality of the leather and some times if u look at the ones they sell @ pay-less they wont have the lv mark on them
Probably from the fabric? Every time I buy branded clothes the fabric is very good.
