Hereditary Bags Under My Eyes: How do I get rid of them?11 replies

Ah, it seems I got lovely puffy bags under my eyes when I swam in the gene pool. I’ve had them as long as I can remember, even as a little kid. But what is the solution to get rid of them? I get at least 8-9 hours of sleep every night. I have used concealer, but it doesn’t do much. I have very pale skin, and I find them quite noticeable. I would rather not use any type of surgery, I’m getting the shivers just thinking of that. Any home remedies, that are (preferably) painless?
No no no, they’re not dark and puffy. Just puffy. My dad’s side. Gee, thanks dad…
Heh, no lasers. I shudder at the thought of it. =O What if they missed or something and got my eye?!

Hemorrid cream decreases swelling around eyes. But there is nothing you can do for dark circles I ask my plastic surgean.

If they’re big enough you could get a laser to cut into them, burn away the fatty deposits and cauterize the folds into re-sealing themselves with minimal abrasion.

A home remedy would be cold wet green-tea bags over eyes. Also, under-eye cream morning and night (preferably with collagen) and yellow concealer to cancel out the purple color. (use underneath foundation)

I dunno if your willing to spend some money but if you are you should really look into this product called dermawand. I saw it one night watching those late night infomericals. I actually just bought mine last week. It has so many benefits that its well worth the money over cosmetic surgery or frequent facials. This is how it works: Derma Wand is a condensed version of the corrective technology that professionals rely on. It sends out a gentle stream of impulses stimulating at 114,000 cycles per second. Your complexion will immediately respond with a lifted and increased contoured appearance while improving from the congested look of puffy, tired eyes. The thermal energy helps increase “tissue warming” , which provides an excellent resource to cosmetically smooth away the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Simultaneously, Derma Wand produces enriched oxygen to help purify and retexture the surface of your skin. It runs for about $135 in total with s&H but right now they have a special going where you try it for 30 days and if you decide to keep it you pay for it otherwise you can send it back and you never have to spend any money not even for the s&h. Or also it goes alittle cheaper on ebay. Hope that helps.

I heard this years ago: you take cottons balls and make a round pad with them, or if you can get the round pads is good too, and take cold milk, I’m saying cold not frozen, soak the pads in the cold milk and just place it in the area, do this every night, and you’ll see the results.

There is a cream called Hylexin that I’ve heard about. I’m not hugely knowledgeable about it, but it’s very expensive! Still, it probably works really well.

Try using cold tea bags right after waking up in the morning. use them for 15min for both eyes “and make sure the tea bags are always cold”. after that massage the area in this direction” from the outside of your eyes to the bridge of your nose” i hope that will help.
